We all know how incredibly important it is to plan if we want the outcomes that we’re hoping for.
This can be said about so many things in life –
- career
- relationships
- renovations or home construction
- holidays
- business growth
- budget
- savings
the list goes on…
But equally important as the planning component is the review, revise and adjust components.
Sometimes we have a life shift, values realignment or something that throws us off kilter for a minute or a lifetime and we need make sure those goals and plans are still something that we want to work towards.
Do we adjust the goal, the timeframe, the cost?
Do we start again and reassess what we want from life?
In my experience, for goal setting to be effective, it can’t be “set and forget” type of thing. They need to be living and breathing, meaningful and motivating, top of mind and important.
Where are your goals currently sitting? How are you going towards achieving them?
Is it time to review, revise and adjust?
