Every now and then I get itchy feet and need to change things around. I don’t want to move house, I’ve just been on holidays, I love my family and my team at work – so they’re all staying… but something needs to change.

I feel like I’m in a bit of a rut? Does this happen to you too?

What do you do to manage it?

Here’s my thoughts…

1. Change my exercise routine. I’m a morning exerciser because if I don’t get it done before the rest of my day starts, it will never happen. So timing will stay the same, but I’m going to get a PT to work on a new fitness plan tailored to me and my goals.

2. Have a family adventure on the weekend. No idea what it will be. I’ll put the kids in charge. This could be interesting… I could do the same with my friends group!

3. Retire some of the recipes in my menu plan and get some new ones. Again, the kids could do this, I’m sure.

4. Have a “change” meeting at work. Ask each team member what they would do if they could change 3 things about our workplace. Then we’ll vote on which ones to implement. I might need to give them warning before we meet so they have time to think.

5. Plan my next holiday. Where will it be and when?

6. Review my goals. What can I work towards that will challenge me and get me out of my comfort zone? (now this one really excites and scares me!)

What can I add?

What have you done that has changed your trajectory?
