There’s a whole lot of panic talk at the moment and I don’t like it.
People are talking about recessions, stock market crashes, toilet paper hoarding – all kinds of stuff that makes our minds go into overload.
So in the midst of all this craziness, I’m asking you to remain calm.
Things are changing, there’s no doubt about it. We need to be aware of those changes and the impact they have on us – including the way we interact with friends, family and colleagues. Events are cancelled, schools are talking about closing. They’ve even cancelled ANZAC Day commemorations.
This is a challenging time and will continue to be a challenge – and we don’t know for how long or just how big the challenge is going to get.
There is one thing you can do though – besides washing hands and isolating yourself.
You can stay focused on your goal and your priorities. In no way does this mean to disregard health and safety warnings, but keep your eye on your prize.
Don’t blow your budget by buying a heap of groceries or sanitising products. Don’t stop saving to buy that house. Don’t get derailed from your plan.
Keep your eye on the prize. Make adjustments if you have to, but don’t lose your vision.
Keep your eye on the market right now. There are always good opportunities coming up and if you’ve put yourself in the right place at the right time, you just might find the house of your dreams for a great price.
Please let me know if you need help with pre-approval for a home loan or if you want to get some intel on the market. I’d love to help!
In the meantime, keep calm and carry on.
