We’re fast approaching that time of year again. The time for parties, celebrations, catching up with family and friends, or missing family and friends if you can’t be with them.
It’s a time of year to be kind to each other. We’re all busy, stressed and this year many of us will be feeling the financial pinch. Maybe this might be a good year to share time and experiences rather than gifts. It’s a good conversation to have with those that you usually exchange gifts with.
For those in the market to buy a home, keep looking over the holidays. Properties will still be for sale and there are often less people looking, so you could get lucky.
Just make sure you have your finance ready because lenders usually operate with minimal staff over the holiday period, so things take longer. Conveyancers and building inspectors often take time off too. So get organised!
Be kind, have fun and be prepared, and, if you’re struggling, reach out for help.
