I love this time of year. I make sure I’m organised early so that I don’t get caught up in the busy-ness of everything and so I can relax and just enjoy.
My kids are excited for school holidays and Christmas. If I get to catch up with other family members and friends before Christmas, that’s great – otherwise there is always January.
Work is winding down and we know the drill well enough to have systems in place to support any customers who buy a property or need finance at this time of year.
But the thing that I love most is that a new year is looming. A blank slate. A fresh start. The chance to write another chapter – and I can make that chapter into anything I want.
Will it be a year of growth, fun and a few risks. Or will I make it a year of consolidation, firming up the structure, resting and breathing?
Both sound good – but the former lights a fire in my belly and gets me excited.
So while I’m taking some time during the holidays, I will be planning, creating, devising, collaborating and dreaming.
And then I’ll be putting an action plan in place.
What will 2025 bring?
I’m not sure yet, but I’m sure it will be great!
